A method of body conditioning that was developed nearly 100 years ago by Joseph Pilates.
The postural re-alignment achieved by these gentle stretching and strengthening exercises is beneficial in many other ways, leading to significant improvement in breathing, circulation and digestion, boosting the immune system and increasing oxygen levels, leaving you feeling re-energised, relaxed and with a greater sense of well-being.
Pilates is suitable for all ages and all abilities, and can be practised at many levels:
Class sessions (max 10 people) are held on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings at St. Andrews Church Hall, Limpsfield Chart.
